Grace Murugi is a marketplace leader and an award winning Digital Strategist. She is reputed for linking digital campaigns to business growth, social impact and brand equity. Her current passion is AI and how this is changing the Digital landscape globally.
With a keen eye for new market share, she offers a unique blend of leadership, vision and knowledge on wholistic digital strategy and implementation. She worked at WPP Scangroup handling consumer packaged goods for Unilever and Kimberly Clark then transitioned to Safaricom for close to 5 years as a Digital lead, and was part of amazing work that linked business results to the work they did. This included championing the insourcing of digital media for Safaricom PLC, campaigns like Eliud 159, Mpesa App among many other campaigns.
She then transitioned to Oxfam as the Head of Digital Strategy and has championed the influencing of humanitarian, gender and inequality work on the global digital landscape and is excited about the impact work that she is a part of delivering at Oxfam.
Grace is also a seasoned entrepreneur and she founded a business, scaled it and then sold it a few years ago. She is also a Top 40 under 40 Women in Kenya recipient 2023 and a Top 50 most influential women in Kenya award recipient.
