Abby Chebet is a Kenyan youth leader and the visionary founder and CEO of The Lady’s Heart Foundation, a student-led nonprofit she launched in 2017 at just 17 years old to champion quality education (SDG 4) and menstrual hygiene awareness in rural Kenya. While studying for a Bachelor of Commerce (with CPA certification) at Multimedia University, she mobilized student chapters across multiple counties to deliver education mentorship and sanitary towel distribution reaching over 8,000 girls to date in response to the period poverty hindering school attendance . In addition to her work with the foundation, Abby serves as Youth Governor of Bomet County, combining activism and governance to advocate for adolescent girls’ rights and development.
