Azaavi Foods is a registered manufacturing business based in Machakos, Kenya, operating under Azaavi Collections Ltd. Founded two years ago, the company produces healthy, dehydrated fruit snacks to reduce post-harvest losses and promote better nutrition.

Azaavi works with over 20 smallholder farmers—80% of them women—providing training, fair pricing, and stable market access. With products in 20+ retail outlets and a majority-women team, the company is driving inclusive, sustainable growth.

Supported by a KES 1.1 million technical grant, Azaavi has grown from incubation to owning its own facility. Its work aligns with SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-being) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality), contributing to food security and economic empowerment.

In the next decade, Azaavi aims to become a national brand, support 1,000+ farmers, create 100+ jobs, and improve public health through nutritious, local snacks.
