Pishi bora packages authentic spices at affordable prices in the lowest tier of the retail market, their main driving force was to also provide employment to the uneducated mothers who mostly rely on informal cleaning jobs at estate gate in this case National housing corporation in Langata. The women are mostly from Kibra slum with minimal or no education but have skill to perform simple tasks at Pishi bora including packaging ,sealing and dispatch. They currently have two female employees on temporary basis.

She would invite friends and we would in turn go plant trees; a few became a crowd, and they blossomed into a tree planting movement commanding crowds of up to 100 persons, cris-crossing the counties, meeting communities and planting trees.
