Lydia Simiyu Business Nominee # ZuriAwards 2022 is the face behind Pishi Bora Spice. Pishi bora spice was founded in January 2021 amidst the Covid 19 pandemic. Pishi bora packages authentic spices at affordable prices in the lowest tier of the retail market, their main driving force was to also provide employment to the uneducated mothers who mostly rely on informal cleaning jobs at estate gate in this case National housing corporation in Langata. The women are mostly from Kibra slum with minimal or no education but have skill to perform simple tasks at Pishi bora including packaging ,sealing and dispatch. They currently have two female employees on temporary basis.

Elishibah Ngunjiri, Business Nominee #ZuriAwards 2022 is the face behind The Spring Azalea. She started her business in June 2020 after Covid 19, which affected most jobs. She has always been passionate about gifting and the impact it has on people, considering it’s a language of love.
