Introducing Njeri Migwi and Usikimye: The Executive Director of Usikimye, an organization dedicated to ending the prevalence of Gender-Based Violence (GBV). As a survivor of GBV, Njeri is deeply passionate about addressing issues that affect the safety and well-being of women and girls.
Through Usikimye, she is committed to providing essential support and resources to those affected by GBV. Our initiatives include distributing sanitary towels to 500 girls and running a feeding program that serves between 800-1000 children daily. Additionally, they actively protest against femicide, the intentional killing of women based on their gender. At Usikimye, they are dedicated to creating a safer and more supportive environment for all individuals affected by GBV. Together, we can work towards ending violence and promoting gender equality in our communities.
