Venoranda through Youth Changers Kenya has managed to train over 8000 young girls and women on their sexual reproductive health and rights. Youth Changers Kenya plays a key role in fighting sexual violence in Kiambu County; it aims at engaging the boy child and other diverse groups in addressing societal vices such as teen pregnancy, contraceptives and sexual violence….[/spoiler]

Halima Abba through Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevoelkerung (DSW) Kenya, mentors and educates young adolescents in Kilifi County on sexual reproductive health and rights .[spoiler title=’Read More’ collapse_link=’no’]
DSW Kenya has been able to support more than 4,500 young adolescent girls with free sanitary towels, underpants coupled with menstrual hygiene information; They have also trained parents and teachers on positive parenting and importance of parent-child communication. Through their initiative they have been able to retain more than 6000 young adolescents girls and boys in schools..[/spoiler]

Josephine’s work revolves around impacting technology professionals, youth, women and girls in technology; she takes it upon herself to advocate for gender inclusivity especially in tech careers and service opportunities. As vice chairperson in Safaricom Sacco, she has worked together with her team to deliver robust yet aggressive marketing strategies to ensure a strong organization performance impacting over 10,000 members. As the chairperson for the League of Young professionals of Kenya, she leads a team of passionate leaders who ran vibrant programs for over 2000 members drawn from different professions and businesses..[/spoiler]

Uwezo Girls Empowerment Center

Uwezo Girls Empowerment Center works to uplift out-of-school girls, single mothers and ongoing- schoolgirls from the vast Kibera slums.[spoiler title=’Read More’ collapse_link=’no’]
The Center trains and mentors the beneficiaries on life skills and entrepreneurial aspects which include fashion & design, computer literacy, modelling, and naturing the female football talent.Since its inception in 2011, Uwezo Girls Empowerment Center has impacted over 15,000 beneficiaries.; for instance their female football team, the Amani Queens, has produced footballers that have been selected for to play for regional and national league teams. The Kesho Alliance believes that the responsibility of ensuring a gender-balanced society is a collective role, which starts with equipping women with the much needed knowledge, skills and abilities to undertake roles assumed to be only for men.[/spoiler]
